Our names are Nina and Nia, we are cousins, born and raised in New Zealand, but our roots, our bloodline, connect us to The Rock, aka The beautiful island of Niue.
NiuEats was born from our love of creativity and great food, and the desire to bring the flavours of Polynesia to the plate.
Our biggest inspiration is our Nana, Haele, her signature dish was Takihi, it didn’t matter how many times she made it, it was always made with so much love, and you could taste that. Our Nana raised us to understand the importance of family, love and respect.
All of these things translate into what we do at NiuEats, family is the foundation of who we are as a business, the love for what we do can be tasted in the food we create, and respect for our customers, our suppliers, and the ingredients we use is at the forefront. Our ingredients are locally sourced, and when and where possible from small business owners, because we believe in supporting others on their entrepreneurial journey.
