DNA is a social enterprise and a collective of Indigenous Oceania health & wellbeing educators, artists, storytellers and creative writers committed to empowering people of all colours and cultures, one story and one tribe at a time.  DNA publishes books, journals and training manuals and provides training programs to promote Diversity and Well-being for communities of colour.

The DNA team has more than 25 years of experience in international and community development programs in health, safety, wellbeing, human resources, human rights, disability, lifesaving, nursing and education. DNA team members are currently partnering with WorkSafe Victoria to develop the CALD Health, Safety & Wellbeing Resources Project for Pacific Seasonal Workers.

In 2020, DNA conducted Community Diversity and Wellbeing webinars for multicultural communities throughout the region and partnered with the Learning Curve and released the first-ever Oceania Planner, weaving the PERMAH model with history, language and cultural stories from all the nations of the Pacific.

In 2019, the International Year of Indigenous Languages, DNA partnered with Cook Island, Tokelau, Samoan, Fijian, Tongan, Niue, West Papuan and New Pasifika communities and published ‘Children Of The 12 Tribes’ now officially, an Amazon bestseller. The groundbreaking book is a collection of artwork, stories, poems, letters and language lessons interwoven with Articles from the UN Declaration of The Rights of Indigenous Peoples UNDRIP) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). It also offers practical advice for young people struggling to find their place at home, school or in the community in which they live.

All proceeds from DNA’s publications are shared with Oceania communities recently impacted by Cyclones Harold and Yasi and the COVID pandemic.
