Loving Islands is a social enterprise in Fiji supporting inclusive sustainable economic development in rural and remote communities.
As Pacific Islanders, we are brought up with strong values of community and our environments referred to in i’taukei Fijian as the ‘Vanua’, which encompasses land, sea, and airspace. Our work aims to create and support economic development based on these values.
Founded in 2017, Loving Islands’ has grown from a sole-trader business to a, not for profit company in Fiji. We deliver services and projects that support sustainable economic development, such as community training in organic and sustainable agriculture, construction of small-scale community infrastructure, as well as managing an Organic Pasifika farmer group to provide income opportunities to rural farming communities (don’t forget to head over to our online shop to purchase some goods)!
