Cook Is Community NW Ass Inc

We have a vision for a Community Centre in which to create a meeting place for our Cook Island people in the North-West. A place for all ages with programs aimed to meet the variety of needs and interests. Such as, tailored cultural arts and crafts workshops, social and recreation, youth activities, children’s programs, senior citizens activity and excursion, events and functions.

Our mission focus is to promote our culture, to share our ideas with other cultural communities while celebrating the ethnic diversity of multicultural Melbourne. For when we reach out and embrace our neighbours our quality of life also increases.

Our mission focus is to provide a safe place for our youth, to offer support, to encourage and teach positive life skills. To help explore their potential and purpose, build confidence thereby contributing to the diverse demands of Australian society.

Our mission focus is to offer support to the disadvantaged, the sick and struggling families. To address homelessness, domestic violence, crime, drug and alcohol.

Our mission focus is to promote and raise awareness about health, promote positive lifestyle living and mental health. To address elderly and disability care in which to improve the wellbeing and welfare of our people.

Our mission focus is to restore hope and provide opportunities to become all that God intends us to be by putting our Christian faith into action through service to the community.
